  • CBD oil for pets: natural protection against ticks?

The annoying "tick season" will soon start again. Perhaps you can alleviate it somewhat naturally. What is CBD oil? CBD, or cannabidiol, is a natural active ingredient extracted from the hemp plant. Don't worry - unlike THC, CBD has no intoxicating effect. It is valued for its calming and anti-inflammatory properties, especially in humans, but also in animals. But what benefits can it have for pets?   Can CBD oil drops keep ticks away? Some pet owners report that after using CBD oil on their pets, they found significantly fewer ticks. The effect has not yet been directly scientifically proven, but there are some interesting approaches as to why CBD could possibly help against ticks.   Possible mechanisms of action 1. Unpleasant smell for ticks CBD oil has its own smell that some insects and parasites may avoid. Since ticks are very sensitive to smells, it is conceivable that they may not particularly appreciate the scent of CBD.   2. Strengthening the natural defenses CBD is known for its anti-inflammatory and calming properties. A strengthened organism can often better withstand parasites, which may indirectly contribute to tick defense.   Use of CBD oil in pets If you are considering using CBD oil for your dog, horse or cat, there are a few things you should keep in mind:   1. Find the right dosage Every animal is different. Start with a small amount and see how your four-legged friend reacts. Factors such as weight, size and health condition play a role.   2. Applying or administering against ticks? Directly on the fur, especially in the neck area, so that your pet cannot lick it off. And/or administer directly into the mouth with the pipette Alternatively, the oil can also be mixed into the food.   3. Observe the effect Pay attention to changes in your pet's behavior: Is it becoming more relaxed? Is it really staying tick-free? Does its fur look healthier?   Is CBD oil safe for pets? In general, CBD is considered safe, but it is always advisable to speak to your veterinarian before using it – especially if your pet is already taking medication.   Community testimonials Many pet owners are thrilled! They report not only fewer ticks, but also more balanced and relaxed animals. A double win!   Conclusion: A natural attempt is always worth it! CBD oil could be an interesting, natural alternative to classic tick protection. Start with a small amount, observe your pet closely and find out if it is the solution for you and your darling! • CBD and digestive disorders

Introduction Indigestion encompasses a wide range of symptoms, such as cramps or diarrhea, that can affect people of all ages and genders. Although many of these symptoms are temporary and can be triggered by heavy meals or excessive alcohol consumption, they are usually harmless. But what happens when these problems become chronic?   Chronic digestive disorders and their effects Chronic digestive problems are not only unpleasant but can also significantly impair quality of life. They can have a variety of psychological effects and even lead to serious mental illnesses. These problems are often complex and can be traced back to a variety of causes, including allergies, physical illnesses, and psychological stress. They can also be hereditary or the result of an unhealthy lifestyle.   Stress as a key trigger for digestive problems Stress plays a crucial role in the development of digestive problems. Not only does it impair the function of the digestive system, but it can also lead to long-term imbalances. Under stress, the autonomic nervous system, which is closely connected to our digestive tract, can trigger dysfunctional reactions. Common symptoms include stomach pain, diarrhea, or indigestion, which can be interpreted as psychosomatic reactions. Managing stress is therefore an essential component in the prevention and treatment of digestive disorders.   The role of the digestive system The digestive system, which extends throughout the entire body and begins in the mouth, is highly sensitive and closely connected to the autonomic nervous system. Stress and other emotional strains can therefore easily lead to disruption. Diagnosing and treating such problems requires a precise determination of the underlying causes.   Side effects of conventional medications Treating indigestion with conventional medications can be effective, but they are often associated with side effects. Many of these medications are synthetic and can only provide temporary relief while simultaneously placing a strain on the body. In the long term, this can lead to additional health problems as the body processes and eliminates the chemicals.   Can CBD help with digestive problems? CBD, a purely plant-based active ingredient, offers interesting approaches to the treatment of digestive problems. It has anti-inflammatory, soothing, and antiseptic properties that can be helpful for both acute and chronic complaints. CBD can be particularly supportive for symptoms such as abdominal cramps or inflammatory conditions in the digestive tract. Furthermore, cannabidiol is increasingly being used in the treatment of mental illnesses, making it a promising treatment, especially when psychological factors contribute to digestive problems. Our herb tip: In combination with CBD oil, our various, perfectly blended capsules with other natural ingredients of the highest organic quality support a better gut feeling and an active gut, providing lasting relief for the stomach and digestion. These products offer soothing support in everyday life and are ideal for vegans, vegetarians, and health-conscious individuals who prefer natural solutions.   Conclusion The complexity of digestive disorders requires a comprehensive medical evaluation and potentially a long-term treatment strategy. CBD may play a role in this, particularly as part of a holistic therapeutic approach. However, as with any treatment, professional medical advice is essential to ensure it is appropriate and safe for the individual. • CBD during menopause: Natural relief from hot flashes, sleep disorders, and mood swings

What happens during menopause? Menopause is a natural phase of life during which a woman's hormonal balance undergoes fundamental changes. The declining estrogen levels affect the body and mind – often with noticeable consequences: Irregular cycle Hot flashes Sleep disorders Mood swings Decreasing libido This change often begins as early as the age of 40 – gradual but noticeable. Why the endocannabinoid system plays a key role here Our body has its own system that responds to cannabinoids—the so-called endocannabinoid system (ECS) . It regulates, among other things: Mood Sleep appetite Pain sensation Recent studies suggest that the ECS is closely linked to estrogen levels. During menopause, when estrogen levels decline, CBD can help stabilize this internal balance—without any hormonal intervention. How does CBD work in the body? Supports emotional balance Promotes relaxation Can positively influence sleep behavior Helps the body respond better to stress CBD for menopausal symptoms – These benefits are particularly relevant CBD can provide natural relief during menopause. It has particularly positive effects on: 1. Improve sleep quality Many women complain of difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep. CBD can help regulate the natural sleep rhythm – without any potential for addiction. 2. Stabilize your mood Hormonal fluctuations have a direct impact on emotional well-being. CBD has a calming effect on the nervous system and can alleviate low moods. 3. Reduce stress and tension Menopausal symptoms often worsen during stressful phases of life. CBD promotes relaxation and can help you navigate everyday life with more calm. 4. Support libido & intimate area With the decline in estrogen, desire often decreases. CBD, through its relaxing effects, can help improve libido—both physically and emotionally. 5. Natural weight management CBD itself is not a weight-loss product – but through better sleep, less stress, and more balance, weight becomes easier to regulate. Other natural helpers during menopause CBD can be optimally combined with other herbal substances that have proven effective in gynecology: Black cohosh: Proven for centuries to relieve typical menopausal symptoms Evening primrose oil: Rich in gamma-linolenic acid, nourishes skin and supports hormonal balance Red clover: Contains natural phytoestrogens (isoflavones) that can gently compensate for estrogen deficiency Vitamins and trace elements such as vitamin D, B6, magnesium and iron also contribute to stable well-being. Tailored to your well-being: With CBD and serenity through menopause Many women fear menopause, but according to gynecologists, around 30% of women experience this phase with virtually no symptoms. Another third experience only mild symptoms. So it's worth staying calm and seeking gentle solutions—such as CBD. Your inner attitude plays a major role: Those who accept and actively support the change often experience menopause much more pleasantly. CBD can help bring balance to body and mind. Conclusion: CBD as a herbal companion through menopause Menopause is a transition—but nothing to worry about. With natural remedies like CBD oil, this phase can be more mindful, calmer, and often even less painful. CBD supports not only the body but also emotional stability. Important: When purchasing, look for high-quality CBD products from the EU with less than 0.2% THC – like those from Unser Kraut . This way, you benefit from pure quality without any psychoactive effects. Try it now: Discover our premium CBD oils and navigate menopause naturally and more calmly. Frequently asked questions (FAQ) about CBD during menopause: Can CBD help with menopausal symptoms? Some users report that they find CBD beneficial during menopause—particularly for inner restlessness or trouble falling asleep and staying asleep. Scientific studies on the specific effects of CBD on menopausal symptoms are still in their early stages. However, CBD can contribute to promoting general well-being. How is CBD oil typically used? CBD oil is typically placed drop by drop under the tongue and held there for about 30 to 60 seconds before swallowing. This allows it to be absorbed through the oral mucosa. The optimal dosage varies from individual to individual; a slow approach is recommended. Does CBD affect hormone levels? CBD doesn't have a hormonal effect in the traditional sense. It interacts with the body's endocannabinoid system, which is involved in various regulatory processes. Whether and how this affects hormonal balance is currently being scientifically investigated. Can side effects occur when taking CBD? CBD is generally considered well-tolerated. In isolated cases, adverse effects such as fatigue, dry mouth, or interactions with medications may occur. Individuals who regularly take medication or have health conditions should seek medical advice before taking it. Is CBD legal? Yes. CBD products are legal in Austria, Germany, and Switzerland, provided they comply with applicable EU regulations. This includes, among other things, having a THC content of less than 0.2% (Switzerland: 1%). It's important to only use products from reputable manufacturers with tested quality. When can an effect be noticeable? The effects of CBD vary from person to person. Many users report feeling more balanced and relaxed after a few days to weeks of regular use. However, an immediate effect is not guaranteed. Sources and studies: Safdari, F. et al. • CBD and cholesterol: What does research say?

CBD (cannabidiol) is a natural component of the hemp plant that has attracted increasing research interest in recent years – particularly with regard to its potential effects on the cardiovascular system. A frequently asked question is: Can CBD play a supportive role in high cholesterol? What is cholesterol – and why is it important? Cholesterol is a fat-like, vital substance found in every human cell. It performs numerous functions in the body: Main functions of cholesterol: Component of the cell membrane : Cholesterol ensures stability and flexibility of the cell membranes. Precursor for hormones : It is necessary for the formation of steroid hormones such as cortisol, testosterone and estrogen. Precursor of bile acids : Cholesterol is used in the liver to produce bile acids, which are important for fat digestion. Vitamin D synthesis : It is needed to produce vitamin D when the skin is exposed to sunlight. A distinction is made between: LDL cholesterol (low-density lipoprotein) – colloquially known as “bad” cholesterol HDL cholesterol (high-density lipoprotein) – the "good" cholesterol A permanently elevated LDL level can lead to hardening of the arteries (arteriosclerosis) and thus increase the risk of heart attack or stroke. CBD – a brief overview CBD is non-psychoactive and is valued for its potentially calming, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant properties. It is extracted from the hemp plant and is found in the form of CBD oil , capsules , teas , or edibles. Study situation: CBD and cholesterol Scientific research on CBD and cholesterol is still in its early stages, but initial studies provide interesting clues: Animal studies with positive approaches A 2011 study published in Free Radical Biology and Medicine found that CBD can reduce oxidative stress and inhibit inflammatory processes in blood vessels in mice – both risk factors for elevated cholesterol levels. Source: Rajesh M. et al., 2011 – Cannabidiol attenuates high glucose-induced endothelial cell inflammatory response. CBD and lipid metabolism A 2020 study published in the Journal of Dietary Supplements found that CBD may influence lipid and glucose metabolism . The study suggested that CBD could influence fat metabolism in the body via endocannabinoid receptors —a potential target for dyslipidemia (impaired fat metabolism). Note: These results are from preclinical studies. There are no large-scale human studies yet confirming a clear effect of CBD on cholesterol in humans. Conclusion: CBD – a promising supplement with research potential Although there is initial evidence of a connection between CBD and cholesterol, the evidence is not yet sufficient to make definitive statements about its effectiveness. Current studies suggest that CBD may have a supportive effect on inflammation and metabolism —which may also be indirectly relevant for cholesterol problems. For anyone who wants to take a holistic approach to their cardiovascular health , high-quality CBD oil can be an interesting companion – but only as part of a healthy lifestyle and in consultation with doctors. Legal notice CBD products are available in Austria as flavorings, cosmetics, or dietary supplements—but are not approved as medications. Taking CBD does not replace medical treatment for high cholesterol or other conditions. • CPD – The legal alternative to HHC in Austria

The HHC ban has dramatically changed the cannabinoid market in Austria. Many consumers are asking: Is there a legal substance that offers similar effects to HHC or Delta-8 THC? The answer is: CPD (ClearPureDelta) . This novel cannabinoid is currently attracting a lot of attention – and for good reason. What is CPD (ClearPureDelta)? CPD is an innovative compound derived from natural components of the hemp plant. The combination of specific cannabinoids and terpenes gives CPD an effect that consumers describe as mildly psychoactive , calming , and mood-enhancing —comparable to Delta-8 THC , but completely legal. How does CPD work in the body? CPD exerts its effects by binding to CB1 receptors in the human endocannabinoid system , which are primarily located in the central nervous system . These receptors play a key role in processing psychoactive effects. CPD can thus induce a relaxing, mild euphoria—without the legal restrictions of THC or HHC. Rezeptoren Advantages of CPD at a glance 1. Completely legal in the EU CPD is not subject to the Narcotics Act and is therefore legal in Austria and throughout the EU . Retailers and consumers benefit from this clear legal situation. 2. Pleasant effect without risks Many users report a gentle, soothing effect that is ideal for stress relief, relaxation and improving mood – without any strong side effects . 3. Plant origin In contrast to synthetic substances, CPD is based on natural ingredients of the hemp plant and therefore appeals primarily to conscious consumers. Why CPD is particularly in demand now Following the HHC ban in Austria, the market has been in flux. Many retailers are looking for legal alternatives with comparable effects. CPD could fill precisely this gap. Due to its positive response from consumers and legal clarity , it is a promising product for the future of the European market. Cannabinoid market. CPD – The new generation of legal cannabinoids The introduction of CPD marks an important step in the advancement of legal cannabis products. It offers consumers an effective and safe alternative to HHC and THC , without legal gray areas or synthetic additives. If you are looking for a plant-based, legal and effective cannabinoid solution , CPD is the right choice.

  • What is H4CBD? Quick info

What is H4CBD? H4CBD is a brand new cannabinoid on the market. It is produced by hydrating CBD and is said to be up to 100 times more potent than CBD at affecting CB1 receptors. H4CBD is not a derivative of HHC or THC and is therefore described as the legal alternative to THC. CBD or H4CBD? Scientists in Todd's group have known about H4CBD since the 1940s, but it's only recently that this hydrogenated form of CBD has come into the spotlight. As CBD has reached incredible levels of popularity that no one would have previously imagined possible, the demand for more alternatives that may offer even better benefits has increased tremendously. Furthermore, in 2006, scientists discovered that H4CBD has a binding affinity to the CB1 receptor and that H4CBD has stronger anti-inflammatory biomarkers than conventional CBD. Simply a stronger CBD in certain areas. Are CBD and H4CBD competitors? Rather than thinking of H4CBD and CBD as rivals, consider the advantages of each: CBD could be the weaker, all-natural option, while H4CBD would serve as a more optimized, stronger alternative. As modern cannabinoid research continues to advance rapidly, both CBD and H4CBD will surely continue to play central roles. Does H4CBD make you high? In general, CBD has a lower affinity for the CB1 receptors. The CB1 receptor mediates the effects of endogenous cannabinoids as well as exogenously administered cannabinoids in the central nervous system and is therefore a component of the endocannabinoid system. You can find out more about this in our blog post. However, in combination with four hydrogen atoms (hence the name H4CBD), the affinity of CBD to the CB1 receptors apparently increases considerably, making the new cannabinoid H4CBD more psychoactive. H4CBD has a 100-fold greater binding affinity for the human CB1 receptor (Ki = 145 nm) than CBD (Ki = >10 µm), putting it in the same range as CBN in terms of its psychoactive potential, perhaps slightly stronger. Although H4CBD is 100 times more psychoactive than CBD, its psychoactive properties are still less than THC and HHC. Is H4CBD legal? Products containing fully hydrogenated H4CBD have a low and undetectable THC content. Therefore, it is legal in all countries where CBD is legal. • What are full spectrum CBD oils?

CONTENTS: NATURAL EXTRACT CBD OILS FULL SPECTRUM CBD OILS WHAT ARE TERPENES? WHAT ARE FLAVONOIDS? WHAT ARE PHYTOCANNABINOIDS? THE ENTOURAGE EFFECT CONCLUSION NATURAL EXTRACT CBD OILS consist of a carrier oil, usually hemp seed or MCT oil (organic coconut oil whose fat has been extracted), mixed with a resin extract of the plant. The resin extract in question contains the full spectrum of all cannabinoids of the respective hemp plant. The most commonly used variety in the EU is Cannabis Sativa. Usually with a high CBD content, followed by CBDN, CBN, CBDV and of course a low content of the psychoactive THC. In the EU, the THC value of all products must remain below 0.2-0.3%, i.e. almost nothing. Therefore, it does not have an intoxicating effect, is legal and, according to the current legislation in most countries, does not fall under the Narcotics Act. FULL SPECTRUM CBD OILS A natural extract CBD oil, whose content contains the entire spectrum of a hemp plant, is called FULL SPECTRUM CBD oil designated. The natural extract is obtained from gentle CO2 extraction. Due to the pressure and low temperatures, the oil contains all the valuable plant substances of the hemp plant. In addition to cannabidiol (CBD) and CBDA (carboxylic acid form of CBD), other phytocannabinoids (CBG), as well as flavonoids, terpenes and chlorophyll are also included. Even the sensitive essential hemp oil and many vitamins remain, the so-called FULL SPECTRUM OIL with the entourage or synergy effect. These aroma oils work best because the different ingredients together trigger the so-called ENTOURAGE EFFECT. This means that the full spectrum works better than a single isolated CBD active ingredient and has a higher bioactivity. The interaction between the cannabinoids such as CBD, THC etc. and the flavonoids, terpenes and phytocannabinoids of the hemp plant is very crucial. Worldwide studies show that all ingredients contained in the hemp plant, such as cannabinoids and terpenes, can be therapeutically valuable and have a positive influence on the effects of CBD. WHAT ARE TERPENES? Terpenes are so-called secondary plant substances and help plants of all species in the flowering phase. They attract pollinators with their scent and also help keep pests away. As already mentioned, the effect on the human organism when terpenes and cannabinoids are taken together is extremely interesting. The active ingredients become more bioavailable. They dock in several places in the body. Hence the holistic effect of CBD oil. WHAT ARE FLAVONOIDS? Flavonoids are secondary plant substances that have particularly positive properties. They are also known as phytonutrients. They are found in the cannabis plant and many other important medicinal herbs. Around 8,000 flavonoids occur in nature. WHAT ARE PHYTOCANNABINOIDS? Phytocannabinoids are cannabinoids that are produced by plants. These active substances are mainly found in cannabis plants. However, there is also evidence that phytocannabinoids are also produced by other plants. Just like the body's own endocannabinoids, they activate our cannabinoid receptors. The plant genus Cannabis Sativa contains over 100 phytocannabinoids. The best-known phytocannabinoids include THC and CBD. This group of substances has not yet been discovered in any other plant. Phytocannabinoids activate the CB1 and CB2 receptors of the endocannabinoid system and thereby produce their characteristic effect. THE ENTOURAGE EFFECT The term "entourage effect" comes from cannabis research and means that a mixture of plant substances has a higher biological activity than the isolated pure substance itself. The hemp plant has a large number of phytocannabinoids and terpenes, which plays a crucial role in the so-called entourage or synergy effect. The combination of various cannabinoids with terpenes achieves an optimized effect, whereby the intake of cannabidiol in even moderate doses achieves outstanding health results. This enhanced effect can be achieved simply by obtaining certain plant substances, in particular terpenes and other phytocannabinoids. The entourage effect is the perfect interaction of all the natural ingredients of the hemp plant. For optimal effect! This ENTOURAGE EFFECT was recognized, proven and published by Dalton and other scientists in various studies as early as 1976. And here is a study presented to the public in 2013. • Natural cosmetics with CBD - what should I look out for?

More and more manufacturers are recognizing the beneficial effects of CBD in skin care and are supplementing their products with the active ingredient from the hemp plant, cannabidiol (CBD for short). CBD in skin care and cosmetics is particularly characterized by its proven skin-soothing and anti-inflammatory properties. The regeneration of the skin is sustainably supported. General categorization of natural cosmetics: What is the difference between Natural cosmetics, Organic cosmetics and Organic organic natural cosmetics As a user, you should know what significant differences there are! Beware of self-certified products. Just look for official quality seals! Important for result-oriented CBD natural cosmetics is also the processing of the CBD active ingredient in the Natural cosmetics. What is Organic Bio Natural Cosmetics? It is considered the highest level of natural cosmetics because the ingredients used in the product come from organic farming and make up at least 95% of the ingredients. In the case of purely "natural cosmetic" formulations, which are often available on the market, this only has to be guaranteed for 50% of the plant components, and for organic cosmetics only 85%. Our cosmetic products, for example, are certified to the highest level “ Organic – Bio – Natural Cosmetics” certified! And therefore far exceed the usual quality standards in the industry. Don't be fooled by bold advertising. Pay attention to the certificates and seals! Organic natural cosmetics recipes require 95% plant ingredients! This very high quality also prevents any possible skin irritation. Our products have the highest Ecogea seal of quality. (ie strictly certified organic natural cosmetics at the highest level) The many possible applications in the cosmetic and personal care sector: CBD care is available in many different variations enriched with various proven other herbal active ingredients (anti-wrinkle cream, moisturizer, lifting serum, facial care oil, eye serum, eye cream, lip care, facial cleansing, hand creams), which have been designed for different needs. They combine the cosmetic with the caring aspect and also offer a regenerative effect on the skin. As well as shampoos, hair treatments, shower gels, soaps, body lotions. We also have special SOS and acute balm products in our range. Here, the positive effect of CBD is combined with other supporting active ingredients from nature according to the latest scientific findings. See our regeneration gels. These are used in the muscle, joint or regeneration area, e.g. also during sports. As well as in the area of problem skin, neurodermatitis, acne, and other skin problems. And it is also about to become a new star in the anti-aging sky. It is important to pay attention to the CBD content of the products.
