 The mild nutty taste of the hemp oil is achieved by removing the hemp shells before pressing. The hemp oil made from peeled hemp seeds is particularly suitable for omega-3 lovers who find conventional hemp oil too intense. The gentle pressing process preserves valuable ingredients, which has a positive effect on the taste, color and nutrient content of our high-quality oil.
 

 
 Effect
 
 Hemp oil naturally contains a high content of omega 3 fatty acids. The alpha-linolenic acid contained in hemp oil helps maintain normal cholesterol levels. The positive effect occurs with a daily intake of 2 g of alpha-linolenic acid. With just one tablespoon of hemp oil (15 g) per day, you can cover this recommended daily intake. A varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle are important.
 

 
 Hemp oil also contains the rare and anti-inflammatory gamma-linolenic acid, so that hemp oil is not only suitable as a cooking oil, but also very good for external skin care, especially for skin problems. This is why it is increasingly used in organic natural cosmetic products.
 

 
 The excess of omega-6 fatty acids in many other oils promotes inflammation
 
 Excess linoleic acid leads to problems: Linoleic acid (Omega 6) can be converted in the body into inflammatory arachidonic acid, which can promote the development of all diseases associated with chronic inflammatory processes.
 
 But not with hemp seed oil.
 

 
 The perfect oil - hemp oil
 
 The optimal fatty acid ratio for humans is about 3:1. An oil would therefore be perfect if it contained only 3 times as many omega-6 fatty acids as omega-3 fatty acids.
 

 
 Hemp oil is just this perfect oil.
 
 Hemp oil counteracts chronic inflammation through multiple mechanisms and can reverse the fatty acid disharmony that is common today into a healthy opposite.
 

 
 Manufacturing
 
 The organic hemp seeds come from regional cultivation in Lower Austria and Burgenland. The hemp seeds are peeled before pressing. This means that around 3 kg of unpeeled hemp seeds produce 1 kg of peeled hemp seeds. These are then gently roasted. 500 ml of golden hemp oil is pressed from one kilogram of peeled hemp seeds. The nutty hemp oil has a golden color.
 

 
 *What are superfoods?
 
 These are foods that, due to their natural composition, contain significantly more nutrients, active ingredients and vital substances than normal foods. The term is sometimes misused for advertising purposes, although industrial products with this name contain few ingredients.
 
 Superfoods such as organic hemp seed oil are wholesome and holistic foods and are natural or from genuine organic farming. In the case of our hemp seed oil, it is also sustainable because it is grown and processed in Austria, so short distances are required to obtain it. Of course, a superfood can only be one if it is on the menu regularly, not just once.
