Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA for short) is a crucial substance that is found in almost all living things. Like CBD (cannabidiol) from the hemp plant, PEA is an endocannabinoid. PEA is also said to have “cannabinoimimetic” properties because it is associated with the CB1 and CB2 receptors in the endocannabinoid system.
PEA has properties similar to CBD. When taken together, PEA and CBD complement each other perfectly.
