 Growth Pattern of Afghani #1 Automatic

 The compact and fast growth of the Indica genotype is due to the high mountain conditions. Such conditions can be found in Afghanistan in the Hindu Kush mountains. For generations, cannabis strains have been selected and bred there based on potency, weight and resin production. For our Afghani #1 we only use the best Indica parent plants from the region.

 What can you expect? Robust, medium-high plants with pronounced side shoots and dark green leaves. The plants begin flowering after just five to seven weeks of growth - all by themselves. After another seven to nine weeks, this variety is ready for harvest. The entire cultivation process - from seedling to harvest - therefore takes just three months.

 Closely packed flowers will quickly cover the plants' stems, with best results achieved with a main stem and unpruned side shoots. As with other autoflowering varieties, you should not top the plants, as topping does not result in better branching or a greater amount of flowers.

 A Sea of Green (SOG) is ideal for increasing yields. Instead of a few large plants, this cultivation method uses many small plants. The buds of these plants retain their weight even after drying. They are chock-full of trichomes. These are the resinous glandular hairs of the cannabis plant, which are smoked pure as kief or processed into hashish.

 It is no coincidence that the Afghan ancestors of this cannabis variety are called “hash plants”. They provide the material for black hash, which is traditionally formed into balls by hand and sold as charas on the Indian subcontinent.
